Lance travel trailers suck. The floor boards do not meet at supporting beams.

The vents are glued not screwed on, allowing leakage. The roof support is so lacking the ceiling sags down. The black and gray water tanks are incorrect so they can not be drained properly. The tires ware away as if made of foam.

And far more issues, I lost count after the 10 th one. The customer service people at lance have Jedi skills of responsibility deflection. Warranty work is nearly impossible because Lance pays peanuts to dealers.

Do not buy a Lance. Go rent an rv or get a hotel.....it will be cheaper for you.

Monetary Loss: $28000.

This is all harping, negativity, sprinkled with lies. I have owned a 2016 Lance Travel Trailer for two years and live in it fulltime in the Rocky Mountains.

A truly four seasons unit.

The construction and durability of the trailer should be commended. As a retired construction engineer, their construction quality is superior.

Final update. Issues happily resolved.

Having been contacted by a Lance Camper Representative, through a process of explaining and then dealing with the issues I have had with my 2010 Lance 2180 travel trailer, my issues have been resolved. Not only that, but once again my view of Lance Camper Manufacturing has been restored. The efforts of this one Lance Camper represtantive has done that for me. I am thankful for his efforts, and for taking the time to work with me.

I first bought a Lance Camper product due to the history of their product.

I honestly say now again that when the time comes I would deal with and purchase another Lance Camper product.

As an update since my last post. I am pleased to say that I have been contacted by Lance Camper manufacturing.

At present my concerns are being addressed. I am very pleased with the level of customer service I am currently getting. My attitude of frustration has been replaced with an attitude of hope. I realize the success of a company is based on the people in the company.

The individual I am currently dealing with is one of those people that works toward the success of Lance Camper Manufacturing.

I will post again soon.

At Lance, our goal is to make sure our customers are cared for. We have contacted this customer and are working our best to satisfy him and take care of his concerns.

To address a few points... Until we physically see the floor and roof it's impossible to comment. We've never seen this before.

All our tanks are custom designed for each model to maximize volume. Any RV needs to be level to drain properly and more important with a black tank - it cannot be all solids. It's important to use plenty of water to assure the tank will drain properly - in any RV.

Another engineering feature is that our vents "clamp" on and then are sealed. Other vents use many screws and are sealed. By eliminating screws Lance minimizes leaks and makes roof maintenance easier.

For everyone out there with a dual axle trailer. It's critical that you check tire pressure and inflate to specs. In addition - load the trailer evenly. That means that when hitched up - typically at 22.5", the trailer is level front to rear. If NOT, all your tires will wear unevenly, braking may be effected etc.

Please visit our website to learn more about our products and call us if you have any questions. Be safe and enjoy the RVing lifestyle!
